After surgery, with your surgeon's go-ahead
Sessions for people working with a provider
We see clients after surgery, with their surgeon's go-ahead, and clients under a provider's care. We work gently, and we work around what your provider has told you.
We are massage therapists. We do not diagnose or give medical advice, and we will not change a plan your provider has made.
Ask your provider before you book
Bring a note if you have one
Tell us what we need to know on the intake

How it works
Four steps, in this order
Ask your provider first
Your surgeon or provider knows what is right for you. Please ask before you book.
Tell us when you book
The booking page asks a few questions and has room for a note. Bring a note from your provider if you have one.
Choose a shorter session
A 45-minute session is a good place to start. We can go lighter, and we can stop.
We stop when you ask
Pause, change position or end the session at any time. If you feel unwell afterward, contact your provider.
Questions about a go-ahead
Do I need a go-ahead?
After surgery, yes. Please ask your surgeon before you book, and bring a note if you have one. For other care, ask your doctor or provider if you are not sure.
How soon after surgery can I come?
That is your surgeon's call, not ours. Book once you have their go-ahead.
Can someone come with me?
Yes. A friend or family member can come to the studio and wait in the front room.
What if something feels wrong?
Say so, and we stop right away. If you feel unwell afterward, contact your provider.
