Our policies
Read these before you book. Each starts from the same promise: you are covered, you choose, and you can stop.
Undressing and draping
A sheet covers you the whole time. Only the part we are working on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on. Undress only as far as you like; we work around whatever you keep on.
Pressure, consent and stopping
Before we start we ask about pressure and any area to avoid. Lymphatic work is light by design, and you can ask for lighter still. You can pause, change position or end the session at any time, for any reason, and we stop right away.
When to ask your doctor first
After surgery, please ask your surgeon before you book, and bring a note if you have one. If you are pregnant or under a provider's care, ask your doctor or midwife first. We are massage therapists: we do not diagnose or give medical advice.
Booking and deposits
Book on the booking page, where a short intake form comes with your appointment. We take no deposit; your time is held as soon as you book.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to move or cancel, since your therapist has held that time. If you are running late, we shorten the session so the next client starts on time. If you are unwell, tell us and we will move your visit without question.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss an appointment without telling us, we call once and hold the time for ten minutes. After that it counts as a missed appointment. We would rather hear from you, so call or text and we will find another day.
Children and companions
Massage is for adults. Please arrange care for children during your session. A friend or family member is welcome to wait in the front room.
Patch tests and allergies
We use a little unscented oil, or none, and we can tell you every ingredient we use. Tell us about a nut or fragrance allergy when you book.
If you're not happy
If a session was not right for you, tell us within a few days and we will make it right.
Tipping
Tipping is optional and always appreciated. You can add it when you pay, or hand it to your therapist.
